Health tracking should feel like care, not data entry
Plume began with a simple observation: new parents and people tracking their cycles deserve better than clinical spreadsheets and ad-filled apps. They deserve something gentle.
We built Plume because we wanted a single app that could grow with a family. When tracking your cycle, you shouldn't need a separate app for when you start caring for a baby. And when you're awake at 3am with a feverish infant, the last thing you need is a confusing interface.
Plume brings cycle awareness, feeding tracking, fever monitoring, sleep logging, and family sharing into one calm, cohesive experience. Every screen is designed to be understood at a glance. Every interaction respects your time and your privacy.
Our mascot — a gentle feather bird — embodies our philosophy. Soft but present. Warm but not intrusive. Always there when you need guidance, quiet when you don't.
Our values guide every pixel
Privacy as a right
Health data is deeply personal. Plume stores everything locally by default. When you share, it's encrypted and under your control. We never sell data, show ads, or partner with data brokers.
Simplicity over features
Every interaction is designed to take one tap or less. We resist the urge to add complexity. If a feature doesn't serve calm understanding, it doesn't ship.
Inclusive by design
Plume serves solo parents, co-parents, same-sex families, grandparents, and caregivers. Our circle model adapts to the family you have, not the one assumptions expect.
Science-informed, not science-imposed
We provide age-appropriate fever guidance and cycle phase insights based on medical literature, but we never diagnose. Plume is an awareness tool, not a medical device.
Small team, big heart
Plume is built by a small team of parents, designers, and engineers who care deeply about family health. We're growing — if this resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you.
