Week 11: The Transparency Window

Baby development

External genitalia are forming. The fetus can yawn, suck, and swallow. This is the prime window for the Nuchal Translucency (NT) scan.

Your body

Nausea may begin to lessen. Energy might return. Hair may look thicker. Linea nigra may appear.

Schedule the NT scan (Weeks 11-13+6). This screens for chromosomal conditions.
